TREES

1-Trees have got long roots to get water and minerals from the soil.

2- Trees have got a hard thick trunk.
The trunk supports the tree.
3- Trees have got branches that grow from the trunk.
4- Many green leaves grow on the branches.
5- Fruit trees have got flowers un spring and fruit in summer.

Examples of fruit trees are: lemon tree, apple tree, orange tree, pear tree, peach tree, plum tree and cherry tree.

1.trees

Trees have got a long hard trunk.

2.bushes

Bushes have gor a short hard trunk .

The branches grow close to the ground.

3.grasses

Grasses have got soft thin stems.

Trees can be:
1. Deciduous .

The leaves of a deciduous tree fall in the autumn.

2. Evergreen.
Evergreen trees have got green leaves all year long.

1-The flower blooms.
2- The flower produces seeds.
3-The seeds fall to the ground.
4- A baby plant grows. The leaves grow from the stem.
5- A new flower grows.

The environment is the type of place where plants live.

The desert and the rainforest are different environments.

Plants grow very long roots to find water. They store the water in their stems or leaves.
There are not a lot of plants or trees in the desert.

In the RAINFOREST......

The trees grow very tall because it rains a lot.
Other plants grow up the trees to find sunlight.
